Overall I think I have produced a strong outcome and I have included as many elements needed in a festival I could possibly involve. I believe my strongest pieces is my line up poster, this design is simple yet effective, by creating detail and using a pattern you’d see on vintage posters and adapting this for a modern commercial use. Along with a logo that is simplistic but represents Electro Swing through the use of typography and shape. The logo has the capability to be used in many formats and I have suggested the formats it should not be used in. These design accomplish a unique and brand new festival design you haven’t seen before but is able to convey itself as a festival that could exist, through the detail and the musical acts who are preforming and the different activities attendants can take part in. I adapted art styles like pop art, inspired by Roy Lichtenstein for portraits of the different characters you can see acting and walking around the festival. I have touched on the inspiration I had to design my work in the way it looks now. I have also explored new forms a video editing and animation for my logo and a backdrop for the stage design at my logo. Stage design was also a new area I explored after being influenced by a talk with Block 9, I have been able to create and environments that fits the theme of my festival and the acts that play there.

If I could improve my work in any form, I would provide more development work within my presentation. Although my design outcomes are good, I do not think there is enough experimentation to go along with it that could further help explain my journey and reaching my goals during this module. I could also incorporate more sketchbook work and illustration because a lot of my work has been developed digitally. This is a working style I have always been stuck to using software to edit and develop my designs, hardly drawing or planning them manually. If I used my sketch book more this would help me create a better development path I could showcase for my work. I also believe I can do much more practitioner research alongside the research I have, I feel as thought there was plenty of opportunity to research designers and artists with work that could have helped inspire my design process.

To be concluded, I have really enjoyed this module and I do believe it has been my favourite one this year but I still need to break from my shell of using a computer to do everything and become more manual by using my sketchbook more and using practical skill like printing. However, I am happy with the outcomes I have achieved from this module and I am excited to do more similar projects in the future.
